CGM is a leading company in the production and sale of material handling machinery, with a network of 5 main offices and dozens of distributors across the country.
However, this well-structured network presented a significant problem: the management of the used equipment fleet.
Each distributor operated independently, without visibility into the availability at other centers.
Communication between locations occurred via email—an inefficient and slow method that delayed both decision-making and sales processes.
CGM’s goal was to create a solution that would:
✓ Allow distributors to share and access the used equipment fleet in real-time.
✓ Help end users easily identify available products and contact the appropriate distributor.
What We Developed

We designed and developed a dedicated portal, fully integrated into CGM’s existing WordPress website without altering its core structure.
This portal revolutionized the management process:
✓ Each distributor can log in with personal credentials to enter detailed information about machinery (features, photos, descriptions, and conditions).
✓ All data is centralized in a single database, accessible to all distributors.
✓ An advanced search filter was integrated to let end users search for specific machines (e.g., electric forklifts, load capacity).
How Does It Work?
An end user can browse the website, use filters to find the ideal forklift, view photos, and contact the responsible distributor directly.
The system automatically identifies the distributor responsible for the selected product and sends the inquiry to the correct office, ensuring a fast and effective service.
2. A Document Management System for Manuals and Technical Documentation
In a second phase, CGM requested a tool to improve the management of technical documentation and manuals.
We developed an integrated document management system that allows:
✓ Creation of a centralized archive with personalized access.
✓ A well-defined hierarchical structure to organize documents logically.
✓ An advanced search function enabling users to quickly find specific documents (e.g., by searching the product name).
This system simplified information sharing among distribution centers, boosting internal efficiency.
